HERE'S WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT US
My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Unveil Weddings for our special day in May 2023, and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the moment we met Ian at a family wedding in 2021, we knew he was the perfect fit for our photography and videography needs. As an LGBT couple, it was essential for us to find photographers who understood and embraced our identity, and Ian's immediate connection with the community put our minds at ease.
The entire process was seamless, and we were introduced to Brydn, who, like Ian, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They patiently walked us through their various packages, and we opted for a package that included both a photographer and a videographer each, ensuring all the special moments from our big day were beautifully captured.
Our pre-wedding couples shoot with Ian was an absolute blast! He made us feel so comfortable that it was more like spending the day with a friend than having a photo session. Ian's flexibility with the weather and his dedication to getting those golden-hour shots truly impressed us.
As our wedding day approached, Ian and Brydn met us at the venue to discuss photo ideas, and their collaborative approach and creative suggestions made us feel confident and excited leading up to the event. On the big day, Unveil Weddings and their team, including Alice and Soner, brought a contagious energy and fun-loving spirit. They perfectly blended in with our guests, capturing every cherished moment without being intrusive. Their professionalism and ability to make everyone feel at ease made a huge difference, especially in keeping our nerves at bay.
Wedding days never go 100% to plan, and we were no exception. But when we realised we missed the opportunity for a particular shot or two, the guys at Unveil made it happen, both in our photos and wedding highlights video. Their dedication to delivering exactly what we wanted was truly remarkable, and we're forever grateful for their efforts. And speaking of the wedding highlights video - it was nothing short of breathtaking! We couldn't stop watching (or crying!) as it cleverly and beautifully showcased the most special moments of our day. The editing was masterful, and the emotions captured were palpable. We would 100% recommend anyone who is considering videography to absolutely go for it! It's an investment that provides priceless memories to cherish forever.
Unveil Weddings not only delivered stunning content but also became lifelong friends. We've met up for casual drinks and catch-ups, which further illustrates the genuine connections they create with their clients. We wholeheartedly recommend Unveil Weddings to anyone in need of exceptional photography and videography services. Their passion, creativity, and genuine care for their clients are unmatched.
Thank you, Unveil Weddings UK, for making our wedding day a dream come true!
With heartfelt gratitude, Lizzie & Chloe xxx

LET US WALK YOU THROUGH OUR JOURNEY WITH
CHLOE & LIZZIE FOR THEIR WEDDING IN HERTFORDSHIRE
Before the wedding..
We met Chloe & Lizzie at another wedding we photographed in London. From the get-go we reciprocated each other's energy at that wedding, and were over the moon to hear they chose us to film and photograph their wedding day.
Upon discussions of content, we worked with Chloe & Lizzie to create a bespoke wedding video and photo package that suited everything they wanted, starting with a pre-wedding couples photoshoot in Brighton, a place really special for them. With the images we'd taken, we created them a beautiful guest book, that allows their guests to leave their notes and remarks at their wedding day. On this photoshoot we got to know the girls so well, to the point which you can see they became really comfortable and playful, perfect for that natural content.
The morning of..
It was clear some nerves were flying around in both bridal parties rooms, and our decision to arrive early to introduce ourselves to the wider party was a choice well made. Immediately we started our playful shooting and calming everyone down. The girls were situated next to one another, so our crew's were able to pop in and out at each stage of the bridal prep.

We organised a few key elements during the morning, such as the reveal photos and video, as well as father of the bride shots to be timed for natural and beautiful moments.

The ceremony..
The guests are gathering for the LGBT wedding, and both brides were ready. Straight away we always try to blend in, being ourselves and chatting whilst we snap away and film. This way, by the time the evening comes around, anyone can approach us and be comfortable when around the camera team! We'd pre set-up at ceremony area, so we're ready to capture the long form wedding video, as well as multiple angles for both the highlights wedding film and wedding photography.
The ceremony was absolutely stunning. Situated in beautifully dressed white room with white blossom trees. We wandered carefully round with permission from the registrar to capture all the angles possible, and for the video side of things, we were recording both the audio, a secondary and third camera for both maximum production value but also to ensure we capture the best reactions from both brides as they walk down and greet one another.
Confetti & Group Photography..
Right after the ceremony is a key time to be organised and ready for the confetti and the group shots. The confetti shot takes a little bit of time to organise, so we usually ask some help from either your toastmaster. We like to ensure everyone has some confetti in their hands and everyone is on a cohesive line, so the confetti photos and video looks amazing! The setting alone made for gorgeous photos, and the huge energy from this wedding in particular made this confetti line one of our favourites. Even when the confetti got into eyes and elsewhere, Chloe & Lizzie still rocked it out and made it fun. For this and group shots, for their package we organised our wedding drone pilot to attend. Here we captured drone content of the venue, the confetti run, the large group shot and the couples shoot. It really adds that extra angle that cant be captured on foot.
As a tip, we ask you to have a list of group shots to a number totalling to 10 or less. The reason being it can be very time consuming, and usually would end up then reducing our time in the wedding couples shoot, which is really important for the film and photography. We're experienced in what looks great, and will happily organise the group shots to what looks best, and of-course more than happy to take guidance on something you've seen before.
The couple's shoot & wedding reception..
It's time for the wedding couples photoshoot and here is the prime opportunity for the killer shots of the day, with maximum fun and premium wedding photography, tied up with video. Prior to the day, we walked to check out both the venue, and discussed ideas with Chloe & Lizzie, such as disruptive schoolgirls, utilising Aubrey Park's back of venue, and also some shots with footballs and confetti cannons. It's safe to say this lesbian wedding couple's shoot was AMAZING.

The key part of working with us is the element of fun, and nothing too forced. We work with scenes rather than posed shots, so that way we can capture the real elements of what our couples have to offer. Our wedding photography here was totally unique for our own portfolio and i'd imagine for many too. The collaboration with our couples really helps us change up the traditional wedding photography, to something more tailored and fun, bringing out the real person and showcases why their day is totally unique to them, not like every other wedding.
In this particular wedding photography and video package, there were four crew members, so throughout there was always a photographer and a videographer to capture the guests mingling at the reception, as well prior to the official entrance, and a photographer and videographer dedicated to the bride and bride to ensure full coverage and nothing is missed.
The wedding breakfast & speeches..
Once we're all ready, Annabel & Cameron we're introduced. We're on hand to capture all the entrance photography and video, which then went into the speeches after some food. This entrance was absolutely lively, to say the least! White napkins flung around, music loud and bags of energy from our LGBT wedding couple. At the point catering begins, we tend to have a rest and have some food too, as no one wants to be filmed or photographed while eating.

The speeches were amazing, so amazing in-fact, they had us in tears, let alone the guests attending. This gave us really nice options for the narrative approach we take to our wedding videography. On hand our photographers also captured all of the lovely moments that were introduced via the speeches, as well as the guests reactions. We tend to have two cameras set-up for the filming, and on this case a third camera, so we can guarantee that longer edit. Having three cameras allows our videographers to work efficiently, dedicated to their own roles, having more freedom to capture the intricacies as well as the guests and their laughs, smiles and cries as the speeches continue.
The evening antics, cake cutting and first dance..
The cake cutting, first dance and special surprise for Chloe was so wholesome to be a part of. Just after the cake, Lizzie surprised Chloe with singing a song (something she refuses to do normally), and Chloe loved it so much. We all did. Straight into the first dance after, sung live by Rob Miller Music who was incredible. From there, it was party party and drinks flowing, into the real fun of the evening where we then blend in even more, getting stuck in on the dance floor to capture the guests blowing off some steam. By this point they know us really well and no longer camera shy.
The extra photoshoot..
Sometimes, if time doesn't allow much of a couples shoot in the day, or if the sunset is really nice.. we head out for another short couples photo shoot and video shoot. Chloe & Lizzie were more than game, and we got really creative. Footballs, confetti canons, flying the drone themselves, this shoot was incredibly fun and were very glad we took them out for it.
